Solstice - 105ml Embellished Gaiwan and Teacup Set

This is an idea I've had for ages and finally got out into the world. The sun motif on the lid is slip trailed with the sections filled in with normal glaze. This process takes quite some time, but I think it was worth the effort! Cup is lined with white (it will crackle with use) so you can see the color of your tea! Note: there is a little brown fleck on the saucer. Not really a defect, just the result of using such chonky stoneware. 

All my pieces are unique and handmade by me (a non-robot human). Slight irregularities may be present, and are often intentional. Glazes may craze over time, and unglazed clay will develop a tea patina with use. Please be sure to check the measurements to get an accurate idea of size.
