Solstice - 135ml Embellished Gaiwan and Teacup Set

More sunny gaiwans! Very happy with the two in this batch. The outlines are slip trailed, and the pattern is created by filling in those lines carefully with several layers of glaze. This one has a great pour and the cup holds the contents of the gaiwan nicely. Cup is lined with white (it will crackle with use) so you can see the color of your tea!

Note: there may be some little brown flecks here and there. Not really a defect, just the result of using such chonky stoneware. 

All my pieces are unique and handmade by me (a non-robot human). Slight irregularities may be present, and are often intentional. Glazes may craze over time, and unglazed clay will develop a tea patina with use. Please be sure to check the measurements to get an accurate idea of size.
